Engineering was selected to provide Management, Design
Development/Conceptual and Preliminary Engineering of an 80’ long
Structural Steel Truss Single Span Maybert Road Bridge that has
been determined eligible for the National Register of Historic
Places. The environmental process required a joint NEPA/CEQA
document preparation. The CEQA document also accommodated the
California Department of Fish and Game’s subsequent CEQA review
requirements for the Streambed Alteration Agreement. This project
included advance planning studies, bridge PS&E, geotechnical
investigation, environmental, surveying and mapping,
hydraulic/scour evaluation, traffic control, roadway
modifications, stage construction, utility relocations, drainage,
public relations, right-of-way appraisals, acquisitions and
coordination with Caltrans and local agencies. Services provided
includes construction support, inspection, reviewed shop drawings,
responded to RFI’s and change orders. This project was completed
on-time and within budget waiting environmental document approval.
