ADKO Engineering is providing analysis and design of Galena Creek Arch Bridge which is the largest cast-in-place concrete arch span, for construction loads and unusually high wind loads. The bridge and its false work system needed to be analyzed for various loading conditions to determine the effective bracing system that can withstand the high wind loads and minimize the lateral displacements while providing an efficient design to meet the tight construction deadlines. Different bracing systems were used at different locations to overcome specific challenges imposed by unique sight conditions.

Year completed: 2007

Cost: $ 50,000,000

Contractor: C.C. Myers
